I’m embarrassed to admit how long it’s taken me to blog this session, so I won’t - let’s just say it was far too long! My gorgeous friend makes incredibly beautiful babies, and I was practically bashing her door down in my excitement to see them all. And it’s pretty easy to see why - those cheeks are to die for and have only become even more nommable since!
And just like that, the summer holidays are over! I've had an epic summer of weddings, newborn sessions and lots of fun with my own two little ones. The return to school means a bit more time to catch up on blogging, and I'm starting with the oh so gorgeous George! I met his mum Faye for an at home maternity session, and we didn't have long to wait to meet baby G. Here's just a few images from his newborn session - isn't he delicious?
Baby Aidan kept his mum and dad waiting for his arrival, but I didn't have to wait too long to meet him and photograph this gorgeous family at home. Aidan kept us on our toes, and you can tell from these images that there is more than a hint of mischief in this little squish. Oh Archie. My first baby of 2018 was a deliciously squishy gorgeous baby boy called Archie, who is very lucky to have two wonderful big sisters to take care of him. His lovely mama is a little bit of a superwoman - she was even out volunteering for the Aberdeen branch of NCT when Archie was just over a week old! 2017 was an absolute blast for me! Weddings, babies, and families galore - I have enjoyed photographing each and every one, and feel really honoured that you all trusted me with your most special moments. Looking back over my images from last year has been a total rollercoaster of emotions - laughter, tears and ALL.THE.FEELS. If you aren't pregnant and are in any way broody, you maybe shouldn't watch this video - there is an abundance of squishy goodness within.

Oh me, oh my, little Jack was just the cutest. I had photographed big brother Callum last year and it was lovely to see the family again, especially because not only was there a beautiful new baby to photograph, but lots of upcoming wedding chat to be had as well!
My newborn photography style is really relaxed and natural, and sessions should feel like a morning spent cuddling your baby, rather than a photo shoot. I just document you and your family as you get to know your brand new squish - those little moments that are so special, but pass in the blink of an eye. Here's just a little peek at their newborn at home session last month
I've been so excited to share this newborn session with you all! I met Sam when she asked me to capture a special birthday celebration for her mother in law, back in January at Norwood Hall, where she was rocking a gorgeous baby bump. I was absolutely delighted to hear of baby Sam's safe arrival in to the world, and to be asked to come and spend a morning with them to capture his newborn photographs.

I had the loveliest time a few weeks ago meeting baby Willow, her parents and her gorgeous big sister. Fern was a fantastic help throughout the session, and even got behind her own camera, to make sure I got all the shots!

I thought it quite fitting that I would blog beautiful baby Alexandra's session on International Women's Day. Her mum Ruth is one of my most intelligent, witty and funny friends, who is completely owning this being a mum of 3 malarkey!
Alexandra is super lucky to have two gorgeous big brothers and I can already tell she is going to have them working for her, ganging up against Mummy soon enough!
I was delighted to spend a quiet morning just us girls, photographing R+A as they enjoyed some cuddles and milk, more cuddles, a bit more milk, another cuddle or two, with a cup of tea thrown in as well. I always go at the babies pace, meaning both mum and baby stay as relaxed as possible - Alexandra gave us some amazing awake expressions but soon nodded off snuggled up close to her mum

Just before Christmas, I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful new family, after baby Rose had made her appearance in to the world! I am absolutely loving working with new parents for these at home newborn sessions - they are so relaxed with lots of cuddles, milk and more cuddles....and time even to take pictures of the fur babies too!

Baby Rory is now 8 weeks old, but it only seem like a moment ago that I travelled out to his parents home in Banchory for his newborn photography session. I love going to see new babies and parents in their homes - where they are most comfortable - and spending a couple of hours with them, often with a cup of tea or two thrown in too!

With two other beautiful children, and always being on the other side of the camera in family photos, Konrads mummy wanted to have a special session, just for her and her baby boy. With a lot of cuddles, milk and silly songs, we had a wonderful morning together. Even though naptime was beckoning, baby K was able to turn it on for the camera, but I love the natural images of him and his gorgeous mama the most.
I'm happy to photograph babies of any age, so don't feel like you have to delay a session till your baby is x amount of months. With my lifestyle at home or outdoor sessions, we can work with your baby to get the best images possible. I was honoured to be invited in to the Galloways beautiful family home in Aberdeen, all the way back in March (eek, I am so behind on sharing sessions!) to photograph their precious daughter Eleanor. At 6 weeks, Eleanor was a little older than babies I usually photograph. But because I adopt a lifestyle approach to newborn photography, it's absolutely fine if babies are a little older, and not quite as sleepy as they were when they were first born!
